Theater Vision: Educational Theater Series provides curriculum-based theater arts education opportunities for school groups and home school students in pre-kindergarten through college, and also for the public. Presented by the Arts Education Department at the Franciscan Center of Lourdes College, Theater Vision seasons include 35-40 school day performances presented in the 850-seat Franciscan Center Theatre and Conference Center by professional theater companies that tour nationally and internationally.

Theater Vision Days combine performances with interactive educational presentations by performing groups and professional artist/educators. Theater Vision Days also integrate science, language arts, social sciences, music and visual arts experiences with performances. All Theater Vision events are accompanied by complementary educational materials, including Teaching Manuals and original student Prompt Pages or Cue Sheets.

Professional development in the arts for teachers is offered through graduate programs in the Lourdes College Department of Education. The Franciscan Theatre and Conference Center of Lourdes College partners with Sylvania Schools as the Ohio 1992 team in the John F. Kennedy Center’s Partners in Education program. Arts education opportunities are presented by professional artist/educators, including Kennedy Center presenters.
